Have you ever been to a VA facility or any military base late in the day? Traffic stops, you stop, and honor those who are not here.

Had the sense that he was seeing the faces of all, military and civilian, who had fallen and would fall in this endless conflict as he listened.

11. Gosh but I miss him so. Robin didn't have a clue what was going on but...

He was smart enough to stop, sensitive enough to get that there was something special going on and reflect that in his stance and demeanor until the troops let him know he could continue.

OTOH I'm not at all surprised that Trump and Hannity were clueless but apparently so were ALL of the audience members there and visible in the shot I saw. This actually surprised me more since apparently none of them were current or retired military (or families of) and yet this took place on a military base? If he's on a base where were Trump's normal military 'props'?

The must be props that were bused in or flown in. Active military would do one thing and one thing only, stop what they are doing and show respect, as they are trained. Those people were not military, past or present.
