Kelly was sent in front of the cameras with Trumpy's script and ordered to repeat it. Kelly is doing so because so much worse could happen if Kelly challenges Trumpy.

3. I think that was a measured response, not "unleashed wrath."

When asked if Kelly should apologyze to her for lying about what she said at the FBI building dedication, she said this should not be about her but about him lying to the American people. She said he should "apologize to the American people for lying about one of their congresswomen."

But I understand clickbait is needed to keep online media alive, sadly.

6. I don't understand why an apology was not issued immediately. General Kelly called her a bad name &

totally fabricated a story about her. If he would have told the real story it would have shown what an unselfish public servant she is.

Is it because she's a black woman, and he's a white powerful male? I suspect yes.

I'm hearing that same old crap - there's plenty of blame on both sides. No - he lied and besmirched her character.

As far as the phone call goes - Congresswoman was very close to the family, she has supported them for many years, and attended the wake and funeral, while Trump was tweeting his crap. I suspect the family is grateful she was there to receive the body, the phone call, the wake, the funeral, and the aftermath.
