We have a dear friend who is a world-traveled violinist.
He's made recordings. Teaches at a school of arts and has a violin camp up north.
When I hear his playing on CD or on stage, I'm moved to tears. Knowing him personally then realizing the expression of his instrument, I'm awestruck.
A cello has deeper tones--almost melancholy and pensive, yes?
