Late Sunday post: Music you might not have heard but should.

My Father died just before this came out, I remember driving home from work barely able to see from the tears listening to this many nights, it said everything I couldn't and still cant.

Another one from the same album that helped me through that difficult time. I barely knew my Dad before he came to live with me in 2010. He lived with me but I could not afford to take care of him so he moved to the city and got a job. No health insurance and diabetes in a red state. He went into a coma from no treatment, came out and was disabled. He qualified for SS disability that paid rent for a one bedroom apt and food but nothing left with no health care. Faced with living in his own apartment with no health care or a seniors home where he could get health care he chose the former. He died from no insulin. The ACA would have saved his life, and I loved him dearly. I was working two full time jobs at the time just to pay rent and bills and help him out with food, but nothing will ever make me believe I could not have done more. Ever.

The whole album is great, take a listen.

Here’s one for you that you might enjoy as well; Lyle Lovett does a great cover also:
