Dr. Smith vs. The Robot. Classic. I don't think they'll even go in the comedy direction. TrollBuster9090 Mar 2018 #9

They'll never replace the original Robot, no matter how they try:

Angela Cartwright was my first schoolboy crush!

She also has a website where you can buy her autographed photos. But, most interesting of all, she runs a tour group out of California, where she takes groups on "Sound of Music Tours?" Here she is, plugging it.

...the new Dr. Smith is a woman. But I say "whatever." They kept Dr. Smith as a man in the 1999 William Hurt remake of Lost in Space, and it was crap. (Although, not as crappy as casting Matt LeBlanc as Major West!) I say let them have at it. They couldn't possibly do any worse.

What a waste of a competent cast.

One childish, sophomoric plot after another.

I have an idea! Let's remake Lost in Space!!!

NOT!!!

It was so bad, it was actually GOOD! Not to mention the fact that Jonathan Harris single handidly RESCUED that show by camping up his character, and thinking up all the alliterative insults for the robot.

Total trash.

I watched one episode and set it all aside.

And if I were that crew, I would have stranded Dr. Smith on the first stop. But Nooooo! They kept him on board.

Ridiculous television.
