1. I do not see self defense gunfire in that video. I see a "free murder" card cashed in.

It was the number of shots and the fact they made sure to kill him by shooting him even after he was on the ground. I counted 8 shots.

For me, there's no question that this was a straight up murder.

It was not self defense.

8 shots against a suspect who does not have a gun, including shots after he's down. That's murder. I bet you they claim he grabbed the officer's gun instead of the baton. Bet you anything that will be their defense.

But those cops are never going to jail over this. I'd say there's almost no chance they will even lose their jobs, or be disciplined.

This is America, and the police aren't currently accountable for their actions involving lethal force.

Maybe if the guy was white, and the son of a congressman.

I wish I didn't have to be so cynical, but it is what it is.
