12/15/11: Thom Hartmann interviews his former fellow Portland morning show host on Wyden/Ryan

As Thom is recovering from a surgical mishap and having guest hosts like Karl Frisch and Mike Newcomb fill in, here's another classic Thom Hartmann highlight. This is from the Dec. 15, 2011 show. From 2006 to 2010, Thom Hartmann co-hosted a local morning show with Carl Wolfson on KPOJ, Portland's progressive talk station, in addition to his national show. Carl called in the show to provide an Oregonian insight of why Democratic Senator Ron Wyden would support RyanCare.

Description: "Thom Hartmann talks with Carl Wolfson, Host of "Carl in the Morning" on Portland's AM 620 KPOJ, about Senator Ron Wyden (D-Or) teaming up with Republican Congressman Paul Ryan on a Medicare plan that closely mimics plans offered by leading GOP presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney, and a proposal authored by former Sen. Pete Domenici and former Clinton budget director Alice Rivlin, which loomed large in the Super Committee's failed negotiations."

And I believe Wyden is already running as fast as he can from this. I didn't realize the entire implication of what Wyden did, if it is that bad, he needs to be replaced and asap. That is very poor judgement.
