I hope he makes it to President soon. From an Irish immigrant background, a distinguished family with liberal cred, at least I'd know what we're getting. That red wavy hair doesn't hurt, either.

His heart is spot on in the right place and he is a sincere politician in an ugly, ugly world. Biden-Kennedy '20 followed by Kennedy-Harris '24 is a very attractive option in my eyes...

I think there have been one or two? But generally they are marked as second bananas and never go on to the higher office. (You can't include LBJ or Harry Truman, because of those unique circumstances.)

Bush Sr. was a VP who was elected President later.

He was Eisenhower's VP and got elected outright.

According to CNN this is the number of vice president becoming president:

14 -- The number of vice presidents who became president of the United States. Eight of these were because of the death of the sitting president.

That can formulate an administration policy which will enact laws and develop a sense of strength and well being throughout the entire nation. Is that the kind of Political will that Representative Kennedy is talking about? Well that is what this nation has been starving for.
