Look at the charade of the "prosecution" of Julian Assange, for instance. Look at how "progressive communities" like this are infiltrated and neutralized by some using very sophisticated tactics involving appeals to misdirected feminism and morality, dividing and fragmenting potential support on what's left of the Left.

The level of discourse and expectations of American honesty and fair dealing have been flattened. Most people don't even notice covert actions, violent coups, assassinations, invasions, and now treat that as normal behavior by their own government.

The Empire and the opposition have become pulverized into puny, emotionless nuggets and we've had most of our sense of moral outrage hammered out of us.
