On Monday, President Trump and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein flew together on Air Force One. And while Trump said he had no plans of firing Rosenstein, he also reiterated his position there was no collusion with Russia. Joe Scarborough weighs in.

These mid-terms are being run and are going to be won on a district-by-district basis. The GOP would like nothing more than to nationalize this election by turning it into an opportunity to twist Pelosi and Schumer into boogeymen and use them to distract from the issues people care about, rile up the Republican base, and beat our Democratic candidates into the ground. They are wisely not letting them.

Instead, they are working behind the scenes, providing strategic advice and guidance, raising money and helping to coordinate other Members’ participation where they can be most effective.
