Great, I hope you enjoy it. Rick Mayall died way too young. He was a great modern comedic actor, OnDoutside Nov 2018 #10

Thanks for finding that. Those are a treasure trove.

And Thatcher herself, with her strident, pompous ways, was just made for satire.

Do remember The New Statesman ? That was every bit as cutting about UK politics then, and even moreso today ! Rick Mayall was outstanding.

They really had Raygun and his kitchen cabinet down to a tee.

No, I wasn't familiar with The New Statesman. I didn't grow up in Britain, you see - though I did spend time in London during my college years. I almost moved out there (perhaps I should have).

Thanks for introducing me to that show, OnDoutside. Will check it out.

That's the show she was going for. She writes with them and writers from "Veep" and few other brilliant up-and-comers.

That's always been one of the things these high-handed authoritarian types fear most: wit.

Thatcher made short work of her Labor opposition and Galtieri - but she was no match for the Spitting Image.

who now has a show on Comedy Central playing Trump called "The President Show". Tracey fell in love with his impersonation during the 2016 election. Tracey's had him on her show three times. She flew him out to England this to year to be in the Theresa May sketch. Before that they filmed Skyped calls between him and May and Angela Merkel.
