I’ve got tears watching the trailer. Don’t think I could make it through the movie. THAT is a unique mind set....not only to be the climber but to be in his periphery. It would take a lot.

Horrifying...worse than a tangle of snakes.

I'm going to think about safe, on-the-ground things now.

El Capitan dominates the landscape, and it's vertical. I can't imagine someone doing this, or his girlfriend watching it.

I was totally impressed with the amount of preparation and focused training needed to accomplish the climb. Practice, practice and memorizing each step....not to say anything of the ability to put failure out of his mind.

That said, it's weird making a movie of it...but so happy they did.

And a great story.

I have seen several of his films at various film festivals. We can all live vicariously through him.
