(22,062 posts)El Capitan dominates the landscape, and it's vertical. I can't imagine someone doing this, or his girlfriend watching it.

(4,831 posts)I was totally impressed with the amount of preparation and focused training needed to accomplish the climb. Practice, practice and memorizing each step....not to say anything of the ability to put failure out of his mind.
That said, it's weird making a movie of it...but so happy they did.
