which is not very far from trumpism. do the kochs and other big donors really believe this stuff? or do they cynically use it for their further self enrichment?

The Kochs spent many years grooming Ryan and they got a very good return on their investment

And of course Ryan will be richly rewarded for it, he won't get anything like what the Kochs made off him, but they will throw him some table scraps

and the poorest sharecropping evangelicals in north louisiana believe that somehow they are "free" only because the rich continue to profit.

modern republicanism is an arranged marriage of public choice economics and the prosperity gospel. how else to explain trump's strange annoitment by god?
