Very stylistic and powerful film that didn't sugarcoat what went on during that period. And as a rare treat, it even covered Ida B. Wells who is often left out of the history of the suffrage movement, where there was inherent racism that ran rampant within it (Wells was usually more well known for her pursuit of documenting and reporting on lynchings).
