3. Nancy Pelosi is fighting for us

You blame her for GOP corruption. Maybe you should help empower her, rather than put her down?

8. We need to demand action, time flies and the GOP is not waiting
Tue May 21, 2019, 09:52 AM
May 2019

We need to be real, why should I support inaction? Where do we see that anything is happening? How many subpoenas have been issued and how many have been answered? You tell me what have we accomplished so far?

I refuse to wait, I refuse to sit down while I see that nothing is happening, while I see Barr do and say whatever he wants without beginning a process to impeach him, the same with the buffoon.

We do need to fight to make sure our elected Democratic officials do the right thing, otherwise the GOP will reach their goals and when they do it will be too late. And Pelosi is wrong, Democrats will not loose any votes if they impeach, but they run with great frustration from their constituents if they don't. I am frustrated, every time I read the news I see the GOP doing crap without consequences, is that what we need to support? I don't think so.

Call me whatever you want, but my family has, and continues to live under the same type of situation, I have seen what happens when a party like the GOP has an agenda of destruction, of eternal power and the opposition all it does is talk about their options and the articles of the constitution that make the offending party wrong, but no real action to fight it, and now people are hungry, there are no medicines in the country, industry collapsed, infrastructure collapsed, military corrupt, etc. and the people cannot reverse course, they don't have the weapons, they don't have the support of the military, not even from foreign aid. IT CAN HAPPEN HERE!

15. You are convinced that Democratic leadership refuses to "do the right thing"
Tue May 21, 2019, 12:51 PM

You have not stated why you think that they are deliberately delaying, which you have been doing all over DU.

Do you have information that's not public?

Or perhaps Nancy Pelosi has decades more experience at this than you do, and knows what needs to happen and when.

Which is it?

Democratic voters are frustrated and we all should to help push our elected officials to act.

I have to question those who want to wait, who are pleased with rhetoric that is not followed by action, is that what you want? You want for 2020 elections to come and see our democracy be trash by the GOP and the Russians? That is what is going to happens if immediate action is not taken by our elected Democratic leaders.

There is a lot of frustration from the Democratic voters, we either acknowledge it, or suffer the consequences of inaction.

16. You accuse Democratic leaders of "doing nothing" but haven't told us why
Tue May 21, 2019, 12:54 PM

we should believe that you know more than Pelosi with her decades of experience about what to do and when.

Can you shed some light on you qualifications to make that accusation?

7. Unfortunately, Democrats are looking weak right now
Tue May 21, 2019, 09:43 AM
May 2019

Its like a kid at school, the bullies kick him in the butt every time they see him, they throw his books to the floor when they see him, they put signs on his back that say "kick me", etc., and the kid does nothing to defend himself. What do you think of the kid? He is weak, he is afraid?

Democrats MUST become more forceful, every time I hear "we are studying all our options" I cringe, until when are they going to do that? Why are we not moving to impeach Barr, and the buffoon? At least to start getting all the material they need to do whatever research/investigation they have set their mind to do in order to present a case to the American people. The American people, in a majority, want impeachment process to begin NOW.

I agree with tomhagen, the GOP is not going to stop, they move their agenda forward and it gets faster as they see they can stonewall and there is not real threat from Democrats.

As Democrats we need to push our elected officials to move forward, to become more forceful, if they are waiting for the repub senators to back them up then they are wasting their time and we will get to 2020 where the GOP will cheat big time and maybe take the presidency once again. If we continue the attitude that Nancy Pelosi is working for us but we don't see anything coming from that end then we become accomplices, we need action. Yesterday there was a very good video here in DU from the billionaire who has been using his own money to sell impeachment of the buffoon, and it was about that "Democrats doing NOTHING". Lets wake up, lets bombard our elected officials asking for impeachment, I have seen what inaction does, and how it destroys when you have a group like we have today in the WH, and once it happens it is very hard to rewind. We can put our faith in the military, but I have great doubts about that.

We have to stop being naive, Rosestein betrayed us, for what I can see so far, the hype on Muller was just hype, nothing coming out of it and he remains silent still working for corrupt Barr, so where is the beef?

But I do like her observations of Nancy Pelosi's discipline.

So many of our erstwhile Democrats with their Democrat bashing and Russian encouraged "both sides do it" fail to understand or appreciate discipline.

17. Speaker Pelsosi continues to "keep her powder dry."

The problem is that powder naturally gets moist from storage.

Powder is a metaphor for "power."
