I believe in holding the press and media accountable for their lack of responsibility. There are maybe enough responsible journalists to count on two hands (I speak with hyperbole but here aren't many at all), but the lack of follow up on the part of these people is pathetic. Allowing an interviewee to take over the interview and continue to speak over the interviewer is a sign of a shitty journalist.

8. That's Alyson Camerota (sp?) who I usually watch in the morning because...

her show is vastly less annoying than Morning Joe. Well, that's if I watch any cable news at all.

She's been around a long time, has a couple of Emmys, and shares duty with NBC. She usually does reasonable interviews, but her job as an anchor is not necessarily to fight with her subjects. SHS is gish galloping here, and that's extremely difficult for any interviewer to deal with unless it's taped and edited. Or you just shut the mike off and do a quick change of subject. You can see that's she struggling trying to get an answer-- it's not an easy job.

I consider one form of "press bashing" to complain when things aren't exactly the way we think they should be.

BTW, if anyone looks her up, I'll save you some trouble and let you know she spent years at Fox before CNN.
