Fox "News" Is A White Nationalist Megaphone. Boycott Their Advertisers.

It's silly to blame Donald Trump for inciting white nationalism, when all he's really doing is repeating talking points he saw on Fux News. They're the real problem. He repeats what he sees on Fox News because he knows his base loves it. He's probably a racist and a xenophobe, but that's beside the point. It's Fox News that's been tapping into the white nationalist vein for 30 years. Trump is only taking advantage of the superhighway Fox News built.

This conspiracy -- and you can damned well believe that's what it is -- is broader than just Fox.

most vulnerable to an advertising boycott. The mega-churches there's not much you can do (except possibly start charging them taxes), and talk radio is a cheap enough medium that it could probably survive with only a handful of advertisers. But Fox has already been shown to be vulnerable to advertiser boycotts, IMHO.

Trumpy and FNC interact. They feed on one another. They amplify their messages. They're in sync. Trumpy is not being victimized by FNC. He's a mutual propaganda partner.

It's not silly at all to blame Trump, regardless of his sources. Just because he's seen it elsewhere doesn't absolve him of responsibility for repeating and amplifying it.

As others noted, it's also much more than just Fox News.

Trump doesn't really have a base. What we call trump's base is simply a bunch of fakenews (foxnews) viewers and rush limpbaugh listeners who were donated to be trumps base. Trump's base can be any conservative's base if that's what the fakenews network and conservative talk radio wants. They can also take the base away. Trump is a by-product of fakenews and rush limpbaugh. In one of trump's recent tweets he used the phrase "lamestream media". This phrase has been used repeatedly by rush limpbaugh for years!!! Given enough protests and boycotts of advertisers, they may be tempted to find a better candidate and move that base away from trump and to the other candidate. But given the level of fear that has been stoked by fakenews and rush limpbaugh, they don't want anybody else. They want an adolph hitler like lunatic who will act as front man for all the evil that's necessary to stop what they see as an "invasion." This is not going to stop until they figure out how to keep the migrants in their own countries. They have to solve those county's ills first. Once that's done, most of those so-called "invaders" will go home and live their lives. But we first need "SMART" people WITH REAL LEADERSHIP SKILLS to solve this problem. Not some reality show clown who see everybody as his "fans". DUMP TRUMP 2020!!
