3. seroiusly, i always fill out the census form and fill it in.

of a census worker comes by, I first ask for id and then talk to them (in 2010 it was a pair of nice ladies and it only took a few minutes. but

I do not answer personal questions from strangers or computers over the telephone and

i'm not sure about the computer thing either. i'll bet there are already a few phishing sites set up for this purpose.

She often had stories about the people she met, she seemed to enjoy it and considered it a kind of civic duty.

The last year they made her a supervisor and I don't think she liked that as well, she worked with the actual census takers rather than going to homes to help people fill out the forms. Good luck!

My mother had to find homes they hadn't heard from and help them fill out the forms. Some people didn't know the answers to the questions, so she'd help them with that. In my area, some places are pretty rural, hard to find.
