Spain's brain drain



Besides budget cuts and "austerity measures", another concern for poorer European nations is the departure of their people for countries with healthier economies.

The German government has been actively recruiting engineers and other highly skilled workers from recession-hit states.

Nick Spicer reports from Southwestern Germany, on one such recruitment programme.

a few days ago. The looting was to turn over the food items to those hit hardest by the austerity measures, thinking the austerity measures were going to get worse.

I also read about other professionals leaving Spain for better economies, even ex-patriating to the UK.
