Steve Bannon's Master Plan for Europe

Stop children, what's that sound? Everybody look what's going down.

Where did Bannon go? Oh, he has decided to participate in messing up other countries and performing trumpism with great glee. What an amazingly effectual demon is proving to be as he continues his quest to subvert democracy, etc. I can understand Trump better than I do the motivations behind Bannon's nightmarish visions. Maybe just pissed for something that happened to him once? Too much drinking combined with a will to power? Satan? I won't speculate there.

The trumpistic rhetoric, (sans the underlying, corrosive reality that results from it on the ground) is spreading in ways, and in places, we might not expect. It seems that the USA has now become a vector for emulation of Fascist dictatorship in progress. I would just say, no, no, no. You are missing the point and your freedom and culture are what you are risking.

We are not alone here with our Dictator-in-waiting as we sit on the verge of a potential regime. There is a malignancy spreading and, from my perspective, it is very regressive, alarming and even disheartening. It is like the World is buying tickets to revisit or relive a very dark, restrictive and cruel time not long ago.

Who turned down the lights? These times are getting much darker than many of us might have expected, all things considered. However, we really should pay heed now, while it matters.

When President Trump’s former strategist, Steve Bannon, was ousted from his White House post, he didn't disappear. He went to Europe and is heading up new projects to support right-wing populist parties that are currently surging across the continent. We sent Michael Moynihan to Sweden, Italy, and Belgium to track Bannon and see the rise of Europe’s right-wing populist movement firsthand.
