Trump was determined to try to squeeze his fair share of corruption out of Ukraine, one way or another.

My guess is Parnas and Fruman know they are in danger both from Putin and Trump.

But Parnas has openly said and through his lawyer that he is afraid of Barr - as he well should be.

sound like Trump was ordering a hit. The tone sounds like he wanted her fired. Why didn't he just fire her himself instead if telling someone else to do it? I'm guessing that he wanted them to set up a situation to discredit her first in order to make it look justified. She was competent and well-respected within her field. If it looked like he fired her for no reason, that would draw attention and make people ask why. He did not want anyone looking into his motivations for replacing her. He treats life and the world as a series of acts in a play that he writes, directs, and stars in.

She probably did not say anything about him being impeached, as he was told in the tape. She worked on clearing up corruption and was good at it. Therefore, corrupt people wanted her out. A Ukraine agenda was being planned and Yovanovich could not be counted on to play along. What better way to get Trump to replace her than to make it personal to him?

So perhaps she was being followed in order to know her habits and how she could be set up to look bad. That would explain, "She's going to go through some things."

Trump' is pals with mobsters. He talks and acts like one himself. But Yovanovitch is alive, isn't she? There was time before she left Ukraine and after she returned to the US, before she was publicly connected to the Trump/Ukraine deal, when she could have been "taken out" in an "accident."

That would have prevented her from talking about her concerns regarding Ukraine. As an accident, even if it aroused suspicion, there would not be proof of murder.

But that did not happen. Why?

I believed at first that it was a hit order. I still believe that it was an order to target her to be discredited and fired.

She is still alive. Why? Speculations and conclusions have to take everything into account in a way that fits what is known.
