or who he said them about. Men are walking a knife's edge these days, always one remark away from a career ending faux pas. There is a double standard in place, because talking about a man's appearance isn't an issue. Men can be torn asunder from stem to stern, about their weight, clothing, appearance, actions etc. It's done hundreds of times each day on any TV talk show, but no one is ever taken to task about that. Like I said, I'm not aware of what Matthews said, but was it really so bad that it warrants ending his career? I wish people would stop, take a look at the things that they've uttered in the past, before attacking someone else for something they've said. These things can be taken too far sometimes.

I imagine I'll be set upon by the usual suspects. Fire away.
