Also, America could be part of the rest of the world and be sharing in the good will and overall sense of community if it wasn't for the trend toward isolationist policies at least since Bush in America. It's time to kick the right wingers to the curb so we can be part of civilization instead of curmudgeons who think we are better than anyone else. We are not. The isolationist policies in America are part of the abuse.
Compare: China sent PPE gear to Italy with poems in Italian all of them. Other countries are coming together to try to fight the virus and help each other.
Meanwhile, our own country has a leader who is trying to make exclusive (with all his Republican friends, I am sure) money from testing and holding up testing in America.
I don't want to hear another negative word about China. They at least try to step up and be part of the global community instead of this shit we have going on in America.
We got this piece of shit in America in charge holding up the global community's hope for a vaccine and holding up everyone's recovery by trying to get exclusive rights to it, just to make money for himself from this pandemic with his own greed while he whines the media isn't fair to him.

Once again, America has to miss out because we let Republicans rule us.
It is like having an extremely abusive father and a mother who refuses to see the problem with that. They make everyone around them and and kids unfortunate enough to have to live with them miserable AND abused.
That is our political system in America in a nutshell.
We are worse off for it than most people realize. It is time we break that cycle of abuse and quit coddling the goddamn Republicans. They contribute nothing to our civilization but grief and misery in the form of mass shootings, bombings, plowing cars into crowds to kill people they don't like, stopping other people they hate from getting healthcare, selfishness, greed, and cold-heartedness. Republican contribute NOTHING GOOD to civilization. Why do we have to pretend they are not abusive assholes who contribute nothing? Half our own party refuses to acknowledge the abuse is happening. We need to make sure they are aware we realize that. It'll kick them in gear to fight more instead of letting Republicans get away with breaking the law so much.
