Poppy Bush saw a UPC scanner at a grocery store. They had been used for years, but Bush, being the sheltered, rich, asshole he was hadn't stepped foot in a grocery store in...well, probably ever. He was amazed! I wonder if Trump has ever seen one.

Been using it for years. First saw one on Alton Brown's cooking show ten or twelve years ago. It only gives you surface temperature. To see if the meat is done in the middle, you still need a probe thermometer. Got one of those a few years ago that beeps when you hit your target temperature. Since then, Thanksgiving turkeys have been moist and tender, never overcooked.
