I agree entirely. No bravado, no bragging about ratings, no claiming that "nobody knew" something for which there are many experts. Just facts, plainly and confidently spoken, in which the character of FDR and JFK shone through. I can't help but contrast JFK's quick and strong response to the missiles to the last two GOP presidents. "Mr. President, the country is under attack," and Bush sat there scared out of the remnants of his mind. "Mr. President, the Coronavirus is coming. It could be a pandemic," and trump played Nero and fiddled while Americans died.
