(14,853 posts)I've read all kinds of nonsense about it, including the non-working examples that he mentioned at the start of the video.
Saw one article promoting the soap idea, and it mentioned the water must be WARM when rinsing. That's the only reason it works at all, BRIEFLY, until the glasses cool down again and are more prone to condensation.

(14,853 posts)... and that stops it too, but I'm definitely going to try the band-aid idea! Thanks!
I'm sure the goggles would fog-up too if I wore them very long while doing something strenuous. They're just sealed so my breath doesn't get inside.

(36,262 posts)I don't understand why people insist on making videos, when a couple of sentences of text will do the job. Technology-worship run amuck, I guess.

(102,273 posts)but surgical masks with glasses or hand-made masks for the grocery store, which I INSIST on wearing with glasses are a problem. Just ordered some of that tape before it disappears.

(4,516 posts)Tape the mask across the nose and wipe a thin film of LIQUID soap on the glasses, don't rinse. Tape works better than band aids because the mask will remain unsealed in the spot under the non-stick pad.

(4,237 posts)it reduces the fogging quite a bit. Not ideal, but thought I'd share.
