5. It's one of the few times I've agreed with Will

Pence is like the rest of the evangelicals now, just a hollow shell. They've made too many Faustian deals over the years to be taken seriously as anything but a bunch of the sort of criminals their lord and savior whipped out of the temple and Pence is the most public example of this. Instead of being principled (but wrong), he's nothing. A cipher. An anonymous fluffer among anonymous fluffers with no character of his own left.

They dedicated their lives to going back to the system of killing women with illegal abortion. All they accomplished was killing every other principle they had ever held, everything that had ever made them human.

The fact that Will sent them scurrying for their dictionaries is the cherry on the cupcake.
