Problem solved. Then with 7-6 decisions set about dismantling every single law the GOP forced through while in power.

It's unlikely the GOP as it exists today will ever win back the presidency and as such would be utterly powerless to ever win back the SCOTUS.

Expanding the Court is politically risky, no doubt about it - but you're right: what choice would a President Biden have?

Because unless Clarence croaks and soon, a 6/3 right-wing court would act as a 3rd chamber of Congress - for the sole purpose of declaring all Democratic legislation "unconstitutional."

Which is exactly what FDR had to put up with during his entire first term - while he was busy trying to save the nation.

For all Rethugs care!

When the power of a slim majority is used to utterly silence the majority, turnabout is fair play. If anything it justifies the action and makes it politically less risky.

The nation is trending away from the GOP's failed policies, and changing demographics will insure their demise. No reason to be held hostage by those failed policies for a generation. It's time to neuter the GOP once and for all.
