I'm from Baraboo, WI and an openly gay man my entire life
and a gay activist for over 50 years now.
And it still gives me thrills to hear someone like you tell some
of your life story especially as it relates your experiences with ex-gay therapy.
I personally consider that whole movement as a form of abuse, especially when
it comes to young people whose parents put them through this kind of mental
castration. It's hard to believe there are still therapists out there who practice
this form of torture in trying to force others into becoming someone they're not.
