10 of the Most Stoic Moments In History Ryan Holiday Stoicism

If you want to see things anew and find out what your capacities just might be, then here are some very inspirational examples of stoic moments in history.

If anything, it will inspire you and build up your courage to go forward with less fear by having some good, real life examples to draw from.

With the right attitude, (the thing we actually can control) we can discover our own, natural potential and strength when a light is shone on our path and we are open to finding out.

Right now, I join with all my fellow DU'ers in esteemed friendship, implicit solidarity and unshakable fortitude.

Carry on and hold your head up. We can handle what comes and welcome the challenge no matter what. This video might come in handy as we proceed together.

Take up Cato's spirit with you! We do have worthy exemplars who lived this.

Excellent.

I am reading the 3-book biography of Theodore Roosevelt (highly recommend it), what a great man he was. It has lead me to wonder why today's republicans have Ronald Reagan as a hero and not T. Roosevelt who does deserve that attention, maybe because T. Roosevelt was a progressive, which is what the neo-republicans hate, so now they idolize trash instead.
