I'm not familiar with these people so it didn't resonate with me, despite Bill's descriptions. But I liked the rest - I just wish that they'd included the video of Bill's "funny bit" this week, the list of people we won't ever have to see or hear again!

Good Show! I would have loved to have seen more of Tristan Harris. I found him very interesting. I seem to be convinced into buying a book after every show these days! Anyway, thanks again!

I was looking forward to Malcolm Nance, but I liked the other guests a lot, too! And aren't they all selling a book? LOL. I'm guessing that why they make the rounds of shows, but that's how we hear about them - and I've lost track of all the books now on my list!

I'm hoping Maher has social psychologist Jonathan Haidt on the show one of these days.

Haidt is the author of The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion, a look at human morality as it relates to politics and religion.

Conservative think tanks and propagandists have mastered the art of group manipulation using morality and tribalism. This was was discussed on tonight's show to some degree, but I'd love to see a deeper segment on the subject with someone like Haidt.

Anyhow, I think it's worth a $15 subscription to see the entire Maher show. You can also catch the West Wing reunion and the David Byrne concert filmed by Spike Lee.

Thanks for posting Rhiannon12866!

I know that some were wondering since we had no reason to celebrate - yet - but everyone stepped up and it was all fine.

As for The West Wing, I know that was popular, too, and that lots of DUers were fans. If you didn't see this, you might be interested, a reunion and preview on Colbert's show recently.

I thought you'd appreciate that if you hadn't seen it, obviously Stephen Colbert is also a fan and they pretty much covered all bases in that great reunion/promotion show.
