He actually planned a lot of the response to the fire and threw open palaces, villas, and temples to house people who had fled the fire.

Then he razed what was left of the burned out neighborhoods of the poor and built opulent new palaces on top of the ashes.

So he was more of a mixed bag than Dumdum is. Dumdum just thought if he ignored it and then denied it was real, it would just go away on its own. As a result, we have 4.3% of the world's population and more than 20% of the Covid cases.

History is going to be far unkinder to him than it was to Nero, and deservedly so. He is a monster.

Oh, and expect us to top 300,000 dead within 5-6 days.
