Great movie. Thanks for posting. Loved the Disco era. Early Disco (1970 on) was in Gay clubs, Drag shows, Black dance clubs, Latin dance Clubs. Underground music of the day ... you had to be there or be square, LOL. All the Rock and Roll crowd hated disco music and to this day still do. hummmmm, wonder why? It was really fun to see people get up and dance on the dance floor again after the late 60's where music was a group thing at concerts or meditative thing at Jazz clubs where you did your own thing yes but dance steps were over. By the time this movie came out Disco music was main stream which means it was basically over but the music in this film was still great. Disco evolved into Street Rap and Rap and House and Acid House and Hip Hop and Gangster Rap and so on ... the best Disco music is from the early 1970's through the 70's before electronic music took over. There were some really great bands ... KC and the Sunshine Band for example, just listen to the horns!
