In states like Florida and Texas, senior citizens waited in car lines for hours in hopes of receiving their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Fewer than 3 million doses have been administered across the U.S.

first to medical workers in hospitals. Now it is going to medical workers in outpatient settings and elderly living in facilities who are unable to live independently.

Next it goes to people over 65, essential workers and people at high risk tho they haven't said the order.

It makes sense to give it to the elderly who are in facilities before anyone over 65. The nursing homes and long term care facilities are where the biggest outbreaks are happening.

No one is waiting in long lines here, not yet anyway.

It makes a big difference we have state officials trained in public health making these decisions here.

My friend who works in the hospital ER has already gotten the first Pfizer shot - though she had to drive an hour to a major hospital to get it, presumably because they had the adequate refrigeration there. And I just read in the local paper that nursing home patients and workers are being inoculated next. I don't know what the plans are after that, though a local school has recently shut down because of a student outbreak due to yet another prohibited gathering.

Mask wearing is required before entering any store or business and people are complying, seem to have gotten used to it, but as we have seen, it doesn't take much! I don't know when they'll get to me, but I'm willing and ready whenever that is!

In Phase 1b, COVID-19 vaccine should be offered to people aged 75 years and older and non–health care frontline essential workers, and in Phase 1c, to people aged 65–74 years, people aged 16–64 years with high-risk medical conditions, and essential workers not included in Phase 1b.

He jumped to phase 1c so you are going to overwhelm the system. Incompetency is unbelievable.
