...this show illustrates my experience with some family and friends.

It's simply amazing how effective the FOX/RW media has been at brainwashing a segment of the population - and it's really hard to see how to "deprogram" the mf45 believers.

I have one brother, a brother-in-law, and a professor friend that all sound exactly like those people in the focus group. Almost all the friends and relatives have argued with them, and some have cut them off. They get their "news" from a few crazy sources and filter it through a dark lens.

The one thing that is missing from the focus group discussion is the "Archie Bunker" racism and misogyny that really is much of the underlying reason for accepting the crazy RW views in the first place.

I did have the added stress of wanting to hurl something large & heavy at my computer screen. I live in a red county in a predominantly red state, and I can tell you one thing, as they say in the south, these people are "ate up." Ate up as in missing large parts of their brains, specifically the prefrontal cortex and the temporal lobe.
