Trump did his level best, everything he could to destroy our democracy and set himself up as dictator - and he came within a hair's breadth of doing just that. Trump's Big Lie is still out there, with millions of people still believing it. The work that we will have to do in rebuilding our democracy just boggles the mind. What we have been through as a nation was, in actuality, just like a civil war. Now comes reconstruction - which, if it was anything like that which followed the first civil war, will take a lot longer than the war itself.
