So this was Jerry Blackwell's first criminal prosecution? That's blows my mind! He gave a master class during that trial. I figured it was his area of expertise.

I'm also ignorant as to how the public prosecution works. I just figured that the State of Minnesota and all states would have a roster of prosecutors on the payroll. But because this case was pro bono, the state cannot provide a lawyer for free and it falls to private lawyers to volunteer?
