(24,319 posts)The only conclusion I could draw is we spend billions on state-of-the-art military air and water craft and then apparently we equip them with black and white video cameras from the 1940s.

(14,837 posts)If you have, it wasn't released to the public until many, many, years after the tech moved on.
But keep in mind some of those videos were shot at night, using FLIR tech. So they look black and white...

(9,080 posts)While I agree that they need to figure out if they are planes or drones from other countries (and even ours) to rule out any airspace violations that's where it ends.

(47,382 posts)Right now, who would have the money and technology for very advanced aircraft?
(I am an USAF brat, Air Force kids love to talk about UFOs.)

It was sad to see 60 Minutes parroting this nonsense.

(51,627 posts)"During a press conference this week, Elizondo made clear that UFOs have been observed to have qualities that are nothing less than otherworldly. He described vessels flying at 11,000 miles-per-hour and being able to turn instantly. Providing a comparison, he explained, for our most advanced jets going at the same speed, if you wanted to make a right-hand turn, it would take you about half the state of Ohio to do it.
"He also detailed Spielberg-worthy operational capabilities that fall into the realm of transmedium travel. Elizondo explained that the eye-popping vessels can fly 50-feet above the Earths surface or 80,000 feet in the sky and even submerge underwater without a compromise in performance: When you see that, you recognize you are dealing with a technology more advanced than ours.
"There seems to be a very distinct congruency between UAP activity and our nuclear technology, he continued. Thats concerning to the point where weve actually had some of our nuclear capabilities disabled by these things
There is absolutely evidence that UAPs have an active interest in our nuclear technology.
"If this starts to sound like a Twilight Zone episode Elizondo talks about UFOs pulling as many as 700 G-forces when our most technologically advanced aircraft can stand only 17 before falling apart (and thats to say nothing about pilots at the controls) its easy to hope for a fast and satisfactory wrap-up."

(3 posts)It has nothing to do with propulsion.
This is pre determined coordinate movement.
It is teleporting for lack of an established term.
The other form of rapid movement is magnetic field manipulation. A bubble or moving tunnel is used to move through the pull/drag of the atmosphere.
These craft are using a combination or alternate application of these technologies.

(35,364 posts)our military instalations, according to reports they also checking out other countries military roo. If you wanted to tale over the world that is what you would do. Let's hope whatever it is they are peaceful.
Why after lying to us for 70 plus years about this are they suddenly acknowledging them as fact?

(3 posts)Military is suspecting Chinese have possibly connected with ETs. I think it's at least positive step to admitting they know far superior technology exists.

(47,382 posts)I am familiar with China's future goals as a global power.
And yes if UFOs are real, then it is 100% certain that China is trying to get advanced technology from them.
Right, I have been thinking the same thing, soft roll out.
But why?

(17,636 posts)If a society that was thousands of years (or more) advanced of us were visiting, and did not want to be seen, don't you think that they could figure out how to do it? How about hanging around a few million miles off and gathering what data they needed. Why come dabbling around in the atmosphere, and getting within range of detection devices. I call it all bullshit.
The key to all of this crap is "Unidentified." Pulling theories out of ones butt to explain the source is more like religion than science.
Don't get me wrong, I think that it is almost an impossibility that there are not other planets with life and there is no reason to believe that some of them may be millions of year advanced of us, but that doesn't mean we are seeing them buzzing our aircraft.
All I can add is extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

(8,086 posts)And the idea that such an advanced civilization would be at all interested in our military is ludicrous.
