He betrayed this country repeatedly any chance he got. He should have been removed and convicted after the compelling evidence presented at both impeachment trials, but it's hardly too late - after January 6th, there is even more evidence of his traitorous behavior available now!

His lawyers managed to stall it until he was defeated last November. As soon as he left office, the case was dropped. If he had cheated his way to a second term, it's clear the case would not have been dropped and I doubt he could have stalled another 4 years.

I think it was a terrible mistake to drop that case. Anything we can hit that grifter with is a good thing.

And I agree that it was a huge mistake to drop that case since he is still grifting - as are his adult kids - whenever they can. It's always been my belief that he never seriously intended to serve as president - he's absolutely unqualified for the job and had no intention of taking it seriously - but his previous attempts at profiting from his "name" - Trump steaks, Trump vodka, Trump University - had all failed, so he saw soliciting for campaign funds as another way to cash in. And since it worked so well - plus the attention he received - he's not willing to give it up.
