(8,999 posts)and it reaffirmed my decision to stop watching Maher who has gotten so cynical I cant stand it anymore. All he does is drag the Democrats and all I think is whose side is he on? He used to sound like a liberal but now all I hear is his grievances against anybody that doesnt think like he does. A libertarian jackass. He sounds like trump now. Im done with him.
Thanks for sharing Rhiannon.

(14,336 posts)I have a strange opinion of both Tarantino and his movies: a really enjoy them but I always feel I shouldn't. He was wonderful, and thinking back, he's made some awesome movies.

(260,104 posts)Though I did like this week's guests a lot, good discussion and plenty of humor as well. I was glad that the guests on the panel finally made an appearance. They were scheduled last month when the show was canceled and I was looking forward to them, Max Brooks is always smart and funny. I'm just bummed that the show is going on hiatus for a month, same with Jimmy Kimmel who is taking the summer off. Next week is full of repeats except for Stephen Colbert who is just excited to finally be back in his studio.

(260,104 posts)I've listened to Jimmy Carter's autobiography so many times that I practically know the words - and he really has led a fascinating life - and I'm currently listening to Mary Trump's book over again. I missed a lot the first time through. I recommend that highly as well. I like it when the book is read by the author and both of these were.
