Related: About this forumDid Manchin threaten Progressives w/ GOP votes if they held up the bipartisan infrastructure bill?
Progressives need to be very aware that they are currently at a dangerous moment. Republicans could unite with enough Democrats to play them. Nancy Pelosi holds the key to maintain unity and ensure we get legislation that addresses all.

Nobody is claiming a sudden attack of conscience. It's all calculated, and the ultimate prizes are the 2022 and 2024 elections. If a severely watered down bill that throws money to GOP districts helps advance that plan, of course just enough will vote for it to squeeze out Progressive opposition.
