I sincerely doubt the man and his favored inner circle could pull this one off.

By a "more respectable coup," I'm sure he's thinking in terms of class, manners and discipline. Even he was slightly offended by the vulgar mob who smashed windows, stole furniture, and shat on the carpets. Plus, they were too disorganized to get in there and kill any of the people he wanted killed. They let him down.

What he really wanted were military style precision and discipline and he's not going to get that without the military. I don't think hes going to succeed in that one. He'll have to continue to rely on the rabble who show up for his pep rallies.
