There was a Google bomb about “French Military Victories”. You’d type that in the Google search bar and it would return something like “No results. Did you mean ‘French Military Defeats’?”

Without disparaging anything my brothers and sisters who served there, I wonder if we don’t need something like “American Military Victories Since 1945”?

And, if you notice, these "unwinnable" wars were either started or continued at the direction of Republican presidents. In Mary Trump's latest book she brought up something that came out recently that I'd forgotten - that Nixon secretly scuttled peace talks when Johnson was in office which contributed to Humphrey's defeat in 1968.

That explains it all. Trump was, as usual, only thinking about himself and wallowing in the misery of his defeat, wanting to inflict as much damage as possible on his successor, the winner of the 2020 election, just purely out of spite. Doing the right thing for the sake of the country, or for any cause that is greater than himself, is just totally beyond him. He has the maturity level of a spoiled brat. And he knew that the GOP spin machine would do the rest of the work for him, pinning the blame on Biden. The total immaturity and amorality of this guy, the total lack of conscience, is just mind boggling.
