I agree, I've been following their coverage of this story and found it to be pretty neutral, too. Rhiannon12866 Aug 2021 #6

Who will be the next Boogieman?

The Military Industrial Complex MUST have a Boogieman to keep asking for larger and larger military budgets.

over the years. In fact, they do a lot of good, in depth stories. Just respect their editorial bias--you'll never see a puff piece on right wing Israeli political parties, for instance.

Their language is usually pretty neutral, no inflammatory overstatement to generate clicks.

They've educated me on the region over the last few years and to the point that even if the Afghan forces regroup and retake the country after a couple of years of Taliban mismanagement and corruption, we're not going to like what comes out of it, not even if they have a democratiacally elected president guided by a Loya Jirga that has been extended to the non Pshtun tribes.

And they've provided good information, despite the chaos.
