(13,595 posts)Notice how the only comments that are critical of the lab's design or operation are coming from MAGA/trump toadies. I guess the media gets more ad revenue or clicks if they keep this conspiracy theory alive.

(1,351 posts)The original SARS leaked from labs (after the initial outbreak) and caused small outbreaks 2, possibly 3 times. Why is it implausible to think SARS-2, a far more contagious version, couldn't have leaked as well?

To investigate this theory doesn't mean it's somehow a "win" for the MAGA's. It's plausible, it's science, and we need to learn to it doesn't happen again.

(26,366 posts)And how is it a "conspiracy theory" unless there is a claim some people "conspired to" (i.e. intentionally) release it.
All the discussion I've seen involve a possible accidental release.
