This is not a unified country in the usual sense, it's comprised of factions and tribes, many of which don't even recognize the British-imposed borders from almost 2 centuries ago. We've expended more than enough of lives and treasure, it was long past time.

And they will be better off with those allied with the U.S. out of the country. They appear to want to revert to a previous century.

Bush and Cheney want to take over the middle east and steal their natural resources. The military-industrial complex just wants to make billions replacing destroyed military equipment.

And soon it will start the sick and wounded from the last 20 years of wars fighting will have to fight and beg VA service to live up to the promises that have always been made to the enlistees.

These 20 years of wars will have their own version of agent orange. The Vietnam soldiers have had to fight for healthcare-related to exposure to agent orange.

And then there is the depleted uranium. What unknown long-term health problems are yet to be identified.
