It's amazing, isn't it? It's an uphill battle to convince people that Islam is NOT a violent religion. It has a violent sect in the Middle East (and Pakistan), where political operatives have used religion as a weapon, THE SAME WAY political operatives in the United States use certain Christian sects as a political weapon.

But there are one billion Muslims in the world. If Islam was a violent religion, the whole world would be on fire. But you don't see any religious violence from places like Bangladesh, Indonesia etc. Just the Middle East, where religion is being used as a violent political tool.

But that's ONE thing. You'd THINK that not blaming SIKHS for Sharia Law should be a NO BRAINER! This was bad enough in Canada. (This incident, and also the one where the guy in Quebec confronted him on the street, and told him he should 'dress more Canadian.') But there was that nutcase in Oregon (I think) who shot up a Sikh Temple, and killed many people, because he THOUGHT they were Muslims.
