All contemptuous witness are not created equal. Although Trump's bogus claim of executive privilege will fail, it is a laughably frivolous claim regarding Steve Bannon. Bannon served in the Trump administration for 1/17 through 8/17. He was not in the administration in 2020 or 2021. So it's absurd to claim that any communications between he and Trumo could possibly qualify for executive privilege. Accordingly, Bannon is 100% in criminal contempt of Congress and Congress absolutely should use its inherent power of contempt to arrest him and force his to testify. Because justice matters.

He, like many here at DU, still mistake America for a country with Rule of Law. Which nobody is above.
History, Especially Recent history, shows otherwise.
