... embedded into the DoJ.

Let's give him a fucking chance before we set our hair on fire or lynch him. 45 had four years to fuck up the system, isn't it reasonable that we follow the letter of law to pursue justice that we'd expect in return? Do people really believe that that there is a rogue justice system in opposition to the President? Do people really believe President Joe Biden's hands are tied and his voice quieted if this was true? Is this some sort of back handed slap of the President?

What is this demand for "instant pudding" justice? Are we beginning to embrace situational ethics, just like the GOP has? Shouldn't there be an gathering of the facts before we hang bastards like 45?

... if they had wrapped up this quick. There are Grand Juries in Georgia and New York working on this and the SDNY is actively pursuing charges right now, as well as investigations in other Districts, they've started prosecuting executives who answered directly 45, there are are active investigations with prosecutors poising to indict family members over their crimes.

How long did it take to jail John Gotti? Garland has been the choice of of Presidents Obama and Biden, are these criticisms aimed at these two's judgement, also?

Mueller's Report was exactly that: a report, not an indictment.

of this depth and breadth. And much, much worse.

SDNY and "other districts" have been "pursuing" charges against TFG for as long as I have known about him. As a member of a family that had a small NYC construction firm until the 90s, that is a really long time.

when he was out of office would have produced a bigger pile witnesses pardoned by the President. If they have no jeopardy, they have no reason to be truthful to investigators.

was no longer under Presidential immunity. 10 months ago.

Look. I really, really, really hope you are right and there is an army of legal ants scurrying all over the cupcake that is TFG and his illegal acts.

You think you are right.

I have serious doubts because we have yet to see any serious action, even against the lowest level conspirator in the simplest cases. There has yet to be leak of a witness who says they were questioned, there is yet to be a neighbor's or co-worker's video of the DOJ taking away someone's computer. There is even yet to be any serious consequences for any of the wolf pack of morons who filmed themselves committing an insurrection.

Only time will tell which of us is right. I hope to God it is you.

It's not much, but it's all I have right now. He was upset they didn't go after Trump. He knows the Mueller report inside-out.

I hope the other poster is right, too, but most of my adult life I've watched the democrats go along to get along while the other side is playing a totally different game. We're in the last inning.

Justice matters.

In fact, the Founding Fathers did NOT want a King/Queen at the top of the Executive Branch.

The USSC they created even had to rule that the POTUS in NOT above the Law. (DUH)

The Constitutional Mueller inquiry cited explicitly TEN counts of Obstruction Of Justice.

Where are the Grand-Jury Materials? Did Bill Barr burn them? They must be somewhere?

The google.news front page today was full of titles about failing and disorganized Democratic. Nothing about ATT and OANN, nothing about the new revelations about Trump and the new evidence about overturning the election.

But hey, Republicans have been stealing elections since 2000 and the news never bothered to report on all the voter suppression, they spent the last 20 years promoting the lie, the Democratic just don't vote. It is hard to vote when your registration has been removed.

but we've known for decades that the media has a conservative bias, & we still don't have a marketing department. It's like we threw in the towel before the fight even started. The GOP has painted itself as the party of God, family values, fiscal & personal responsibility, true Americans. Hell, they've even more successfully branded our side than we have—tax and spend democrats. You're right the media is a huge problem, but our side does nothing to counter it. I just don't get it.

He’s supposedly hesitant to sentence the 1/6 insurrectionists to long prison time because he thinks it might further radicalize them. What? This guy is a big time scaredy-cat. Do what you must do Biden.

I agree with others, we need someone like Glen Kirchner or someone like him.
