The ATT signal here is bad and neighbors say Verizon is better here. Has to do with cell tower signal and location.

13. Crown Castle owns and leases out 90% of all Cell Towers in US...All carriers can use them.

It's not the location per se - it's whether your provider has paid to use that tower, and what quality of equipment they use.

Don't let them tell you different. 2 Carriers can use the same tower (unless lease is exclusive - not sure how many do that) - but one will send out a better signal if their equipment is superior. But both transmitters are on the exact same tower.

16. T-Mobile has been improving. A lot.

Last year I went to Galax VA - and I had "Roaming" on US Cellular - no T-Mo service. This week - full bars T-Mo 4G and some 5G too. This area was good under Sprint and seems like they switched the Sprint towers over to T-Mo. If Sprint service is reported to be good then you'll be good under T-Mobile. Also T-Mo really didn't get into the content generation game by buying up content creators like AT&T and Verizon did.

Have had direct tv for 20 years, took over by AT&T, my credit card was taken over by AT&T, been a Cowboy fan for 45 years (save the sarcasm please, I have a sense of loyalty) and this year looks good, the stadium is AT&T, traded in my Toyota truck for a new model that should last until I die, they give money to GQP, I have to shop Walmart in rural WNC, nothing else here. Email is ancient @yahoo. Guess, to be a loyal lib I should rid my life of everything. Who doesn’t give to criminal politicians? Just damn it. Need to just head to the woods a live real life Naked and Afraid. Just being snarky. But guess I need to do the tons of paperwork and whatever to drop em all. Supporting OAN is a final straw. 12. AT&T took a sharp rightward tilt when they divested themselves of NCR & Lucent in the 1980's.

A lot of insiders, inlcluding the #2 guy, left the company very abruptly right around this time. Not long after, AT&T & Citibank made a sweetheart deal to sell Universal Card if Citi would convert all their phone systems to AT&T. This was illegal, so they covered it up, and AT&T became a right wing co. right afterwards. I stopped using AT&T entirely when I left just before the Citiborg buyout and unless they change dramatically, I will never use them again.

and got 15 gigabytes of data, versus the 4 that I had with my AT&T plan, and with the prepaid and loyalty discounts my phone service bill will be 1/2 of what I was paying to Amerikan Trump & Treason.

17. Looking at dropping AT&T for my mobile service

Been with them since the mid 90s. Will get an eval phone from T-Mo this week to see how I like their service for my business. If all goes well, I can cut ties with ATT, even though I get a great rate from them (corporate discount from my days as an MSFT employee).

I had been with AT&T since 2009. I just switched due the OAN story. The thought of my money going to finance right wing fascist propaganda made the difference.

21. AT&T's been outed as thoroughly fascist

No ambiguity about “sponsoring”. They are practical owners of the network. OAN has admitted. stated publicly, that without AT&T backing, they’d fold like cheap tent in the wind.

I’ve been trying to arrange for the switch to Verizon who, at least, have not yet been outed as bankrolling Nazis and Neo-nazis, white supremacists and Pluto-fascists -- as has AT&T.

(Neither AT&T’s nor Verizon’s websites have proven to be easy to navigate for information. For AT&T I really don’t care, but I don’t want to cancel them until I get Verizon set up -- I think that’s the procedure: don’t quit what you have until you actually are signed with the one you want.)

I hope no one here is heavily invested in AT&T because its stock is dropping and, I think, is going to plummet before this is over. I wouldn’t think of advising anyone on stocks, but hell yeah, I’d advise you to quit an openly fascist, propagandizing corporation that supports and enables the Big Lie.
